Postpartum department - 2nd floor

This department provides professional care to women after spontaneous and operative childbirth. Physiologically pregnant women, with high-risk pregnancies and women before childbirth (overdue pregnancy, membrane rupture) are hospitalized in the department.

• The department fully respects rooming-in policy.
• The rooms are single and double with private sanitary facilities.
• The rooms are equipped with a TV, you can connect your own USB flash disk to the TV, and Wi-Fi connection is available
• The service of a physiotherapist and psychologist is available at the department.
• We offer women the choice of an individual diet according to their state of health in cooperation with a nutritional therapist.
• We work closely with a team of paediatric nurses and paediatricians. We create a friendly environment for mother and child, and we adhere to all principles that support breastfeeding. Paediatric nurses and midwives are trained breastfeeding consultants.
• Visits are possible in the afternoon from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the patient rooms.
• The length of hospitalization after childbirth depends on the state of health of the mother and child. Women are usually discharged to home care 3-4 days after spontaneous delivery and 4-5 days after operative delivery.

This department provides professional care to women after spontaneous and operative childbirth. Physiologically pregnant women, with high-risk pregnancies and women before childbirth (overdue pregnancy, membrane rupture) are hospitalized in the department.

• The department fully respects rooming-in policy.
• The rooms are equipped with a TV, you can connect your own USB flash disk to the TV, and Wi-Fi connection is available.
• Sanitary facilities are private for each room or shared by two rooms.
• Visits to the rooms are allowed daily from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
• The service of a physiotherapist and psychologist is available at the department.
• We offer women the choice of an individual diet according to their state of health in cooperation with a nutritional therapist.

If the capacity of the department allows for the privacy of the woman and accompanying persons, we are now allowing the presence of one to two adult accompanying persons before delivery in the inpatient postpartum wards.

After the birth, only the child's father can be in the room with the mother under the same conditions.
