Who We Are

Thomayer University Hospital (TUH) provides comprehensive medical and nursing care.

Patients are provided with the necessary basic, specialized and highly specialized medical and diagnostic care, as well as outpatient services. The TUH conducts basic and clinical research, implements and verifies new methods, participates in the clinical evaluation of drugs and verifies medical equipment. It enables professional practical training for students of secondary, higher and university schools.

Nursing care is based on the principles of modern nursing, especially the nursing process, focused on disease prevention, counseling and patient education.

The hospital's specialized workplaces are teaching bases for medical, pharmaceutical and other faculties and, in cooperation with the 1st Faculty of Medicine and the 3rd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, Prague, it participates in the undergraduate education of students of the Faculty of Medicine at selected workplaces.
