Characteristics
Clinical laboratories of the Thomayer University Hospital are concentrated in an organizational unit called Section of laboratory methods (ÚLM), whose mission is to provide routine and specialized laboratory examinations in the fields of clinical biochemistry, hematology, immunology, microbiology, genetics, pharmacology, pathology, including the National Reference Laboratory for Human Prion Diseases and to carry out research, experimental and pedagogical activities in these specialties.
